How to reset Google Pay PIN ( Step By Step Guide)
Steps
- First Open Google Pay,
- Tap on your profile Photo, then Click Bank Account
- Now you need to select the account you want to reset the UPI PIN for. You can also do for Rupay Credit Card, too.
- Tap Forgot PIN. Here you will have to choose one of the options from (2) Debit/ ATM Card (2) Aadhar to proceed further.
- If you have a Debit Cum ATM Card of the Bank, you can select this.
- Enter the last six Digit numbers printed on the Card along with Card Expiry Details viz Month and year of Card expiry.
- then enter the OTP sent by the Bank to verify the card details
- Now enter new UPI PIN and confirm the same.
- Thus , you have now changed the GPAY UPI Pin.
How to change Google Pay PIN ( In case if you know the Old PIN)
Sometimes users of Google Pay need to change the UPI PIN if GPAY UPI PIN gets compromised. i.e. A situation wherein your Bank Account gets hacked or compromised or any unforeseen circumstances provided you know the old UPI PIN of Google PAY.

- Open GPAY APP.
- Go to Profile Photo, then Bank Account
- Select your Bank
- Tap on three dots on left hand corner of the APP.
- Tap on Change UPI Pin .
- Enter your OLD 6 Digit UPI PIn
- Set a New UPI PIN and confirm the same.
- That’s all you have to do just to change the Google Pay UPI PIN in case you know the old one.
How to Reset Google Pay PIN without Debit Card.
You can not reset GPAY PIN without Debit Card, alternatively You can approach your Bank for a new Debit Card or get your net banking enabled to activate the Debit Card. Or You can add another Bank Account or used the another already added one.
However, If you are an Google PAY user based from India then you will have another alternative to change or reset the UPI PIN. That’s using your Aadhar Card Number along with OTP provided that your Aadhar Card is linked with Bank Account.
